February 2 to 23 - Best Evening View of Mercury

March 10 to 24 - Comet PANSTARRS at its best

April 25 - Partial Lunar Eclipse

May 9 - Annular Eclipse of the Sun ("Ring of Fire ")

May 24 to 30 - Dance of the Planets

June 23 - Biggest Full Moon of 2013

August 12 - Perseid Meteor Shower

October 18 - Penumbral Eclipse of the Moon

November 3 - Hybrid  Eclipse of the Sun

Mid-November through December - Comet ISON

Month of December - Dazzling Venus

December 13 to 14 - Geminid Meteor Shower

Ophiuchus, 13th Zodiac Sign

Rumor has it that the stars are not aligned because of the moon’s gravitational pull. People who subscribed to astrology were shocked and don’t even know that they are reading the wrong zodiac sign all this time.

Here are the corresponding changes:

Capricorn: January 20 - February 16

Aquarius: February 16 - March 11

Pisces: March 11 - April 18

Aries: April 18 - May 13

Taurus: May 13 - June 21

Gemini: June 21 - July 20

Cancer: July 20 - August 10

Leo: August 10 - September 16

Virgo: September 16 - October 30

Libra: October 30 - November 23

Scorpio: November 23 - December 17

Sagittarius: December 17 - January 20

They have also added the 13th sign Ophiuchus (November 29 – December 17) which affects the date of Scorpio (November 23 - November 29). The 13th zodiac sign, Ophiuchus, is represented by a Serpent Tamer or Serpent Bearer. The new zodiac sign is related with higher education, enlightenment, healing and medicine. You will also notice the sign is somewhat similar to the sign used in medicine.
